Hold your trigger key to record, release to transcribe and insert text.
The default trigger key is Right Option ⌥. You can change this in Settings to Command, Control, or Fn.
If nothing happens when you press it, make sure you're pressing the right-side Option key, not the left one.
KeyVox needs Accessibility permission to insert text into other apps.
Check that it's enabled in:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility
If it's already enabled, try toggling it off and back on.
Make sure KeyVox has microphone permission:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
Also check that your input device is correctly selected in KeyVox Settings.
Yes. Hold Shift while releasing the trigger key to switch to hands-free mode.
Recording will continue until you press Esc or press the trigger key again.
