Scope

This policy applies to the KeyVox website and KeyVox desktop/mobile applications.

Local Processing

KeyVox is built for on-device voice transcription. Audio is processed locally on your Mac.

KeyVox Speak

KeyVox Speak converts text to speech entirely on your iPhone using on-device AI models. No text, audio, or voice data is transmitted to KeyVox servers or any third-party service during synthesis.

Voice models are downloaded directly from Apple's CDN at your request and stored locally on your device. Replay of generated audio is processed locally and is never uploaded.

Local Data Storage

KeyVox may store audio, transcripts, settings, and related app data locally on your device as part of normal functionality.

iCloud Sync

KeyVox uses iCloud to sync your custom dictionary and preferences across your devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This includes your list and paragraph preferences, weekly word count, and trigger key.

This data is transmitted through Apple's iCloud service and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. KeyVox does not have access to your iCloud data. Audio recordings and transcripts are not synced via iCloud.

Network Transmission

KeyVox does not provide KeyVox-operated cloud transcription. Recordings and transcripts are not uploaded to KeyVox servers for transcription.

Data can leave your device only if you choose to export, copy, sync, share, or use third-party services.

Website Data

When you visit this website, the hosting provider may process standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser details, and request logs) for delivery, reliability, and security.

Contact Form

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, inquiry type, platform, device/OS version, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

The form uses reCAPTCHA v3 (a Google service) to protect against spam and abuse. Subject to Google's privacy policy, reCAPTCHA may analyze device and interaction data including IP address to distinguish humans from bots.

Form submissions are processed via Web3Forms and delivered to our support email. Submission data is retained only as long as necessary to address your request.

Third-Party Services

KeyVox links to third-party services such as GitHub. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

This policy may be updated as the product evolves. Updates are posted on this page with a revised date.
